These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application "FileSync" (the "App") provided by the FileSync development team ("we" / "us"). By installing, downloading, or using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms.
These Terms define the rights and obligations between you and us regarding the use of the App, and apply to every relationship between you and us in connection with the App. The terms and guidelines of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store ("Stores") also apply alongside these Terms; where they conflict, the more restrictive provision prevails.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable personal license to use the App. All ownership and intellectual-property rights in the App remain with us or our licensors. Source code, design, and trademarks are not transferred under these Terms.
You may not, in connection with the App:
The App connects to third-party cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and WebDAV-compatible storage including Koofr and pCloud, and to servers using protocols such as SFTP and FTP. Use of these services is subject to each provider's terms and privacy policy and is undertaken at your own responsibility. We are not responsible for the content, availability, quality, modification, or termination of any third-party service.
The App provides features to transfer, sync, and copy your files among various storages, but we accept no responsibility for transfer outcomes, data integrity, loss, or corruption. Always keep multiple backups of important data. In particular, move, delete, and mirror-sync operations may cause data loss at the source or destination — verify carefully before executing.
If the App offers paid features or subscriptions, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable Store (Apple or Google). We do not process payments directly and do not obtain your payment information.
We may, with or without notice, change the App, add, modify, or remove features, or terminate the App entirely. We are not liable for any loss arising from such changes.
The handling of personal information and data in the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy controls.
We may modify these Terms at any time when we deem it necessary. Modified Terms become effective when the "Last updated" date on this page is updated. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms and any matters relating to use of the App are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
